What is a Green Building?
Green buildings are designed, sited, built and operated to create spaces that benefit people and the planet. Properly sized buildings that reduce the impact on the planet by minimizing site damage, reduce construction waste, have good indoor air quality and are energy efficient typify GREEN .
Green Building emphasizes maximizing efficiency and reducing consumption. Doing so reduces pressure on the natural world for resources to ensure that we will have sufficient supplies into the future.
