Good Gardening Means Green Recycling

When you mix compost with your soil, it improves your soil structure, adding vital microorganisms and micronutrients. Composting also saves water by increasing the soil's water retention capacity.

Create your own compost at home

You can make your own soil-boosting compost right in your own backyard, using a home composting bin. Include leaves, grass, kitchen scraps, and other plant trimmings.

If you don't have a yard, you can recycle food scraps using a worm bin.
